About

The Sussex Index publishes plain-English guides to Sussex businesses: who they are, where they are based, what they make and, where they publish them, what they charge.

Every fact comes from the business's own website or an official source such as GOV.UK or the Planning Portal, and each guide says when it was checked. Nobody pays to be included, and we don't publish star ratings.

We are the sister site of The Surrey Index, which covers Surrey's pubs, farm shops, makers and wedding suppliers.
